Congratulations To Our Three New Senior Vice Presidents!

Neighbors is proud to announce the addition of three new Senior Vice Presidents. Neighbors has named Brandi Cummins the Senior Vice President of Member Experience, Jodi Korner the Senior Vice President of Lending and Tanya Lawrence the Senior Vice President of Strategic Solutions.

“We are very excited to add these incredibly talented professionals to our senior management team,” Neighbors President and CEO Steve Webb said. “Their body of work speaks for itself and needless to say, their promotions were well-earned.”

This Senior Vice President Team has provided more than 60 years of service to the credit union.

Brandi Cummins - 5 2019Brandi Cummins

Brandi Cummins Joined Neighbors in 2015 as the Vice president of Sales and where she served until her recent promotion. In her time at Neighbors, she has expanded the Mascot program from one school to 15 schools. In large part due to her efforts, these schools received $40,985 back from the program in 2018. Cummins was also responsible for the launching the Member Experience Team at Neighbors, which gathers quantitative and qualitative feedback from members and determines which course of actions would be best to better serve the members on an individual basis and as a credit union. She engineered the credit union’s Integrity Service training model.

In addition to her role at Neighbors, Cummins serves as the BNI Area Chapter President and Treasurer. Before coming to Neighbors she served as the Group Business Development Manager at Enterprise Car Sales. Outside of Neighbors she teaches youth Bible study at FBC Covington and served as a leader at BSF International.

Tanya Lawrence - 4 2019Tanya Lawrence

Tanya Lawrence started working at the credit union in January 1994. During her 25 years at the credit union, Lawrence started off as a teller then later served as loan clerk, call center representative, member service representative and a back office operations employee. From there Lawrence moved into management roles by becoming the Operations Supervisor, Vice President of Operations, Vice President of E-Commerce & Project Management and now Senior Vice President of Strategic Solutions. She oversees credit cards, debit cards, payments, digital services, Project Management Department and Enterprise Solutions Department, which focuses on core solutions and applications that integrate or interface with the core.

Lawrence also represents Neighbors by serving on the Payments Advisory Council and Instant Issue Client Advisory Board at the credit union’s financial services technology company which is recognized among FORTUNE 500 as the 65th prestigious revenue-based ranking of businesses in the United States.

She is actively contributed to the strategic growth of the credit union by the modernization of the credit union’s products and services from pre-internet to a full digital integration.

Lawrence is a part of a variety of Fiserv committees including the Card Services Strategic Advisory Council. In her spare time, Lawrence volunteers with various charitable organizations benefiting Alzheimer’s services, ALS treatment, councils on aging and back to school groups.

“I am very thankful for this opportunity to represent Neighbors in a senior management role as we continue to expand in our digital banking efforts,” Lawrence said.

Jodi KornerJodi Korner

Jodi Korner started working for the credit union in April 1991 as a teller at the Goodwood branch. From there, she moved on to serve as Member Service Supervisor, Teller Supervisor, Credit Life and Disability Administrator, Vice President of Branch Administration. In 2005, Korner was promoted to Vice President of Mortgage, which she held until her recent promotion to Senior Vice President of Lending.

Korner has served with the International Association of Women and is an affiliate of Greater Baton Rouge Association of Realtors. Korner was the catalyst in the creation of Neighbor’s construction loans and purchase power mortgage program.

Before joining Neighbors, Korner worked as a branch manager at the Louisiana Savings Association. Korner is passionate about animal welfare and volunteers at Cara’s House animal shelter. She also volunteers with various food banks.

“I’m very excited to take on this new position,” Korner said. “Over my 28 years at the credit union, the lending world has changed quite a bit. We look forward to taking on all of the challenges that the future holds.
